Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad area of low pressure will persist over the northern districts well into
the new week.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak ridge lies over the far southwest of the State. A weak cold front will
brush the southwest coast today. A broad trough develops over inland parts of
the South West Land Division on Wednesday.
Forecast for the rest of Monday 4 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, far northeastern Pilbara and
Northern Interior. Chance of dry thunderstorms over central and southern
Interior. Light showers possible southwest of Busselton to Albany. Very hot
over the Kimberley, southwest Pilbara, northern Goldfields, northern Gascoyne
and South Interior.
Forecast for Tuesday 5 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, most of the Goldfields
and far eastern Pilbara. Light showers over Eucla, southern Goldfields and
northeast South East Coastal. Very hot over northern and central parts of the
state.
Forecast for Wednesday 6 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, Goldfields, Eucla,
eastern Pilbara, southern and eastern Gascoyne and eastern parts of the South
West Land Division. Very hot over northern and central parts of the state.
Forecast for Thursday 7 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, Goldfields, Eucla,
eastern Pilbara, southern and eastern Gascoyne and eastern parts of the South
West Land Division. Very hot over eastern and central parts of the state.
