Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough extends from the inland Pilbara and into the Interior. The
trough will move northwest over the next few days as a weak high forms in the
Bight.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak ridge lies south of the State. A broad inland trough will move back
towards the west coast and deepen on Friday, before moving inland on Friday
afternoon and Saturday as a new ridge pushes in. A weak cold front brushes the
southwest coast on Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 1 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the north Kimberley, mainly during the afternoon
and evening. Very hot over the inland Central West district.

Forecast for Saturday 2 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the northern Kimberley, mainly during the
afternoon and evening. Chance of dry thunderstorms over the southeast Pilbara,
northeast Gascoyne and Interior. Very hot over the inland South West Land
Division.

Forecast for Sunday 3 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the northern Kimberley, mainly during the
afternoon and evening. Chance of a light shower near the coast between Augusta
and Denmark.

Forecast for Monday 4 December
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and eastern parts of the Interior.
Light showers possible southwest of Margaret River to Albany.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
