Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad area of low pressure will persist over the northern districts for the
remainder of the week.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A deepening trough near the west coast and a ridge south of the State will
dominate the weather pattern for the reminder of the week.
Forecast for the rest of Thursday 23 November
Showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the afternoon and evening, over the
Kimberley and North Interior. Chance of a thunderstorm with little or no
rainfall over most of the Pilbara, western inland Gascoyne, inland Central
West, Central Wheat Belt, Great Southern, and inland Lower West districts. Very
windy in the morning through central parts of the state and through the Central
and Lower West districts. Very hot over most of the western districts.
Forecast for Friday 24 November
Showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the afternoon and evening, over the
Kimberley and the north Interior. Chance of a thunderstorm with little or no
rainfall over the Pilbara, western inland Gascoyne and the inland Central West
district. Windy in the morning through central parts of the state and
northeastern parts of the South West Land Division. Very hot over most of the
western districts.
Forecast for Saturday 25 November
Showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the afternoon and evening, over the
Kimberley and the north Interior. Chance of a thunderstorm with little or no
rainfall over the Pilbara, western inland Gascoyne and the inland Central West
district. Windy in the morning through central parts of the state and
northeastern parts of the South West Land Division. Very hot over most of the
western districts.
Forecast for Sunday 26 November
Showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the afternoon and evening, over the
Kimberley, north Interior, and eastern Pilbara. Chance of a light shower along
the south coast east of Albany, mostly during the morning. Windy in the morning
through central parts of the state and northeastern parts of the South West
Land Division. Very hot over most of the western districts.
