Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough will remain over inland northern parts of the State through to
the weekend.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak trough is developing from the inland Gascoyne to the Lower West. The
trough will move eastwards from later on Wednesday being pushed by a cold front
which will brush the far southwest coast on Thursday morning. A new ridge will
develop rapidly over western and southern parts of the State later Thursday
into Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 8 November
Showers and thunderstorms, mostly afternoon and evening, over the Kimberley,
east Pilbara, North Interior, eastern South Interior, and far eastern Eucla.
Isolated light showers in parts of the South East Coastal district early this
morning. Sunny and a bit warmer about the west coast districts.

Forecast for Thursday 9 November
Showers and thunderstorms, mostly afternoon and evening, over the Kimberley and
eastern North Interior. Showers over the South West and South Coastal District,
especially early in the day. Milder in the southwest corner but tending warmer
through the eastern South West Land Division and Goldfields.

Forecast for Friday 10 November
Showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the afternoon and evening, over the north
and east Kimberley, and northeastern North Interior. Possible light showers,
about the southern South West and South Coastal District. Tending cooler
through the southern Goldfields and South East Coastal District.

Forecast for Saturday 11 November
Showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the afternoon and evening, over the north
and east Kimberley, and eastern North Interior. Showers and thunderstorms
possible over the northern South Interior, northern Goldfields, southern
Gascoyne, and Central West districts. Possible light showers about the south
coast, Eucla, Goldfields, and South Interior.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
