Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough lies over the Kimberley and Pilbara. The western end of the
trough will be pushed east early next week as a ridge develops over the west
coast bringing fresh southerly winds to the western Pilbara.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A firm high pressure system over Bight waters will slowly move east the
remainder of the weekend. A deep trough over the Gascoyne extends into the
South West Land Division and west to a low sitting offshore. The trough will
move inland on today, followed by a cooler southwest flow that will extend
across southwest WA early next week.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 5 November
Isolated showers and thunderstorms, mostly afternoon and evening, over the
Kimberley. Chance of a gusty thunderstorm with little or no rainfall over the
north and west Interior, central and east Pilbara, eastern Gascoyne,
Goldfields, and eastern and southern parts of the South West Land Division. Hot
to very hot over the north of the State, Gascoyne, Goldfields and South West
Land Division away from the west coast. Morning fog possible about the Gascoyne
coast, western parts of Central West and northern parts of the Lower West.

Forecast for Monday 6 November
Showers and thunderstorms, mostly afternoon and evening, over the Kimberley,
Interior, Goldfields, Eucla and southeastern parts of the South West Land
Division. Possible light shower over the southwest coasts. Hot to very hot over
northern coastal parts, and in south parts away from the west coast.

Forecast for Tuesday 7 November
Showers and thunderstorms, mostly afternoon and evening, over the Kimberley,
Interior, southeast Goldfields, Eucla and far eastern parts of the South East
Coastal district. Light showers over the southwest coast. Hot to very hot over
northern coastal parts, southern Interior and Eucla.

Forecast for Wednesday 8 November
Showers and thunderstorms, mostly afternoon and evening, over the Kimberley,
and northeastern half of the Interior. Light morning showers possible over the
eastern South Coastal district and South East Coastal district.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
