Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad area of low pressure will lie over the Kimberley and Pilbara over the
next few days.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A new ridge is developing south of the State with a high pressure system moving
into the Bight during Tuesday and Wednesday. A trough begins to develop down
the west coast overnight and deepens during the week.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 31 October
Isolated afternoon shower or thunderstorm in the far north and northwest
Kimberley. Chance of morning showers over the far south of the South Interior.
Chance of a thunderstorm with little or no rainfall over northern parts of the
South West Land Division and adjacent Gascoyne late afternoon and evening.
Windy over central and southwestern parts of the State. Very hot over the north
of the State, temperatures increasing near the west coast.

Forecast for Wednesday 1 November
Isolated afternoon shower or thunderstorm in the northern Kimberley. Showers
with the chance of a thunderstorm over the Central Wheat Belt, adjacent
Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla and South Interior. Little to no rainfall expected.
Very hot over the north of the State, warm to hot across the northern and
central parts of the South West Land Division. Windy over central and
southwestern parts of the State.

Forecast for Thursday 2 November
Afternoon showers and thunderstorms over the northern and eastern Kimberley.
Chance of a shower or thunderstorm over the eastern parts of the Interior. Very
hot over the north of the State, warm to hot across the northern and central
parts of the South West Land Division. Windy over central and southern parts of
the State.

Forecast for Friday 3 November
Afternoon showers and thunderstorms over the northern and eastern Kimberley and
northeast North Interior. Very hot over the north of the State, the Central
West and Lower West districts. Warm to hot across the remaining northern and
central parts of the South West Land Division. Windy over the southern
Gascoyne, Central West and Lower West districts.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
