Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge extending along the south coast is bringing fresh and gusty southerly
winds to the far western Pilbara. Afternoon sea breezes will strengthen along
the Pilbara and west Kimberley coasts from Saturday as the ridge continues to
push east and a trough develops over the Pilbara and western Kimberley.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure is extending along the south coast and will continue
to push east during Saturday. A weak cold front will brush the south coast
during Sunday. The ridge will extend further over southern WA on Monday and a
trough will begin to develop down the west coast, deepening on Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 28 October
Early frost patches for inland parts of the southwest. Chance of a thunderstorm
with little or no rainfall over the inland Gascoyne, southern South Interior
and far northern Goldfields. Very hot in the Kimberley and Pilbara. Windy
morning over central and northeastern parts of the State.

Forecast for Sunday 29 October
Showers developing south of a line from Mandurah to Israelite Bay. Chance of a
thunderstorm with little or no rainfall over the inland Pilbara, northeast
Gascoyne, northern Goldfields and South Interior. Very hot across northern and
central parts of the State. Windy over central and southeastern parts of the
State.

Forecast for Monday 30 October
Possible light showers along the south coast. Chance of a thunderstorm with
little or no rainfall over the western Interior. Very hot across northern parts
of the State. Windy over central and southeastern parts of the State.

Forecast for Tuesday 31 October
Isolated showers and thunderstorms in the northern Kimberley. Windy over
central and southeastern parts of the State. Very hot over the north of the
State with temperatures increasing near the west coast.
