Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough remains over the Kimberley and Pilbara. Fresh and gusty easterly winds
across the Pilbara and North Interior will extend to the base of the Kimberley
due to a firm ridge to the south today. The inland trough will move closer to
the Pilbara and Kimberley coasts later on today as the ridge moves east and
builds over central Australia. A new ridge developing to the south will bring
fresh and gusty southerly winds to western Pilbara tomorrow, pushing the
coastal trough inland again.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A firm ridge of high pressure extends over southern WA, as a trough deepens
