Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak surface trough lies near the Kimberley and Pilbara coasts. A strong high
pressure ridge building to the south will bring fresh and gusty easterly winds
over northern parts, pushing the trough offshore.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A strong high pressure ridge lies over southern parts with a surface trough
developing near the west coast. A high pressure centre will move into Bight
waters on Sunday and Monday with the trough deepen down the west coast. The
trough will move inland on Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 14 October
Mostly sunny. Patchy morning fog over southern coastal districts. Very hot
across the Kimberley, Pilbara, western Gascoyne and northwestern parts of the
South West Land Division. Windy morning across northern and central parts.

Forecast for Sunday 15 October
Mostly sunny. Very hot across the Kimberley, Pilbara, western Gascoyne and
north and western parts of the South West Land Division. Windy morning across
northern and central parts.

Forecast for Monday 16 October
Mostly sunny. Very hot across the Kimberley, Pilbara, western Gascoyne and
northern and western parts of the South West Land Division. Windy morning
across northern and central parts.

Forecast for Tuesday 17 October
Mostly sunny. Very hot across the Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne inland parts of
the South West Land Division and Goldfields. Windy morning across northern and
central parts.
