Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the west Kimberley coast through the inland Pilbara. The
trough will move east today as a ridge pushes in over southern WA.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge lies over southern parts of the State and will move east as a weak cold
front brushes the south coast early this morning. A new ridge will begin to
move in across the southwest of the State this afternoon, extending east along
the south coast during Sunday and Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 16 September
Showers southwest of a line Lancelin to Narrogin to Bremer Bay. Morning fog
possible across western and central parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Sunday 17 September
Isolated light showers near the south coast, west of Israelite Bay. Morning fog
possible across the central and eastern South West Land Division.

Forecast for Monday 18 September
Showers southwest of Lancelin to Katanning to Bremer Bay. Possible light
showers over the southeast Goldfields and Eucla and the chance of dry
thunderstorms through the northern Goldfields and southeast Gascoyne. Patchy
morning frost over northwestern parts of the Great Southern.

Forecast for Tuesday 19 September
Showers southwest of Lancelin to Katanning to Israelite Bay.
