Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad surface trough extends over the Kimberley and Pilbara. A ridge will
extend into northern parts of the state on Thursday bringing a return to fresh
and gusty easterly winds.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge extending along the south coast will dominate the weather
pattern until later in the week. A west coast surface trough will re-form on
Wednesday and Thursday, bringing very warm, dry conditions to much of the South
West Land Division. The trough and warmer temperatures will move inland on
Friday ahead of a weak cold front moving over southwestern parts of the South
West Land Division.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 29 August
Isolated light morning showers over southern coastal districts west of
Israelite Bay.

Forecast for Wednesday 30 August
Chance of a light shower about the south coast. Morning fog patches over
southern parts of the South West Land Division and adjacent Goldfields. Windy
over central parts.

Forecast for Thursday 31 August
Mostly sunny. Morning fog and frost patches over eastern parts of South East
Coastal district, Eucla and adjacent Goldfields. Windy over northern and
western parts.

Forecast for Friday 1 September
Showers developing over western coastal districts south of Dongara in the
morning, with possible light showers extending into the western Great Southern,
South Coastal and adjacent southwest Central Wheat Belt for a period in the
afternoon. Morning fog patches over the South West district and adjacent parts.
Windy over northern and central parts.
