Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
Warm, dry, fresh and gusty east to northeast winds across the north of the
State will ease during today. A weak trough is slow moving over western Pilbara.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak cold front has crossed the southwest coast early today, and will weaken
further during the day as it travels east. A new ridge will extend along the
south coast from later today and dominate the weather pattern until later in
the week. A west coast trough will re-form middle of the week and bring very
warm, dry conditions to much of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 28 August
Isolated showers southwest of Rockingham to Hopetoun. Chance of a morning gusty
thunderstorm south of Denmark to Jerramungup to Hopetoun. Morning fog patches
over inland parts of the South West Land Division, the Central West, and along
the southern coast.

Forecast for Tuesday 29 August
Isolated light showers over southern coastal districts west of Israelite Bay.

Forecast for Wednesday 30 August
Chance of a light shower about the southwest coast and Eucla coast. Morning fog
patches over southern parts of the South West Land Division and adjacent
Goldfields.

Forecast for Thursday 31 August
Mostly sunny. Morning fog and frost patches over eastern parts of South East
Coastal, Eucla and adjacent Goldfields.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Monday.
