Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak low pressure trough extends from the west Kimberley to the North
Interior and is being pushed further north by a developing high pressure ridge
to the south.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A firm high pressure ridge is developing over southern parts of the State and
will dominate the weather pattern for the next few days. A weak cold front will
brush the southwest coast later Sunday into Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 18 August
Light showers over the far southern parts of the South West Land Division and
along the Eucla coast. Morning fog patches over most parts of the inland South
West Land Division and far southern Goldfields. Morning frost across Central
Wheat Belt, adjacent Great Southern, southeast Gascoyne, western Goldfields and
southern parts of the South Interior. Windy over the Pilbara, southern
Kimberley, Gascoyne and Interior.

Forecast for Saturday 19 August
Possible light showers along the south and southwest coasts to the south of
Bunbury. Morning fog over most parts of the inland South West Land Division,
far southern Goldfields and Eucla. Patchy morning frost across eastern Central
Wheat Belt, adjacent Goldfields and southern parts of the South Interior. Windy
morning over the Kimberley, Pilbara and North Interior.

Forecast for Sunday 20 August
Light showers near the southwest coast, extending to southwest of Rockingham to
Bremer Bay during the day. Morning fog patches over inland southern and central
parts of the South West Land Division and Eucla. Windy morning over the
southwest Kimberley and northern Pilbara.

Forecast for Monday 21 August
Light showers southwest of Jurien Bay to Lake Grace to Israelite Bay. Morning
fog patches over inland parts of the South West Land Division and southwest
Goldfields.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
