Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure over southern WA will continue to direct southeasterly
winds across the Kimberley and Pilbara over the weekend.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure over southern WA will slowly move east over the
weekend. Northerly winds will strengthen on Monday ahead of an approaching rain
band and cold front which will cross the west coast on Tuesday.
Forecast for the rest of Saturday 22 July
Areas of morning frost and fog over inland parts of the South West Land
Division, southeast Gascoyne, Goldfields and southern South Interior. Windy
over the north of the State.
Forecast for Sunday 23 July
Areas of morning fog and frost over southern and central parts of the South
West Land Division the southern Goldfields and Eucla. Windy over the north of
the State.
Forecast for Monday 24 July
Possible late showers over the Southwest Capes. Windy over northern and central
parts of the State.
Forecast for Tuesday 25 July
Showers increasing along the west coast and extending inland during the day to
be southwest of Coral Bay to Esperance by midnight. Windy over northern and
central parts of the State, with winds also increasing near the west coast.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Saturday.
