Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A high pressure ridge to the south is weakening and will move away on Monday. A
new ridge will develop over the Gascoyne on Wednesday and maintain cool east to
southeast winds this week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A moderate cold front has reached the Southwest Capes and will move through the
South West Land Division during today. A cold and gusty, showery westerly flow
will then continue across the south for the remainder of the week. Meanwhile, a
ridge developing through the Gascoyne on Wednesday will slowly move south
towards the end of the week.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 3 July
Showers southwest of a line Dongara to Katanning to Bremer Bay, extending north
and east through the rest of the South West Land Division during the day and
reaching far southwestern parts of the Gascoyne and Goldfields by evening.
Chance of gusty thunderstorms west of Eneabba to Collie to Bremer Bay. Chance
of morning frost over the Goldfields, inland Gascoyne, inland Central West, far
southern Pilbara, inland Eucla and South Interior. Becoming windy across the
South West Land Division.

Forecast for Tuesday 4 July
Showers over the South West Land Division, western and southern Gascoyne,
Goldfields, Cape Range in the Pilbara and western Eucla. Showers more frequent
about the west and south coasts with gusty winds. Chance of gusty thunderstorms
west of Brookton to Mount Barker. Possible hail about the southwest coast.
Chance of morning frost over the northeast Gascoyne, southeast Pilbara and
northern South Interior. Windy in the south.

Forecast for Wednesday 5 July
Showers over the South West Land Division, southern and coastal Gascoyne,
Goldfields and southern Eucla. Showers more frequent about the south coast with
gusty winds. Chance of gusty thunderstorms about the south coast between Windy
Harbour and Israelite Bay. Possible hail about the south coast between Augusta
and Israelite Bay. Windy in the south.

Forecast for Thursday 6 July
Showers over the South West Land Division, southwest Gascoyne, southwest
Goldfields and southern Eucla. Chance of morning frost over inland Gascoyne,
southeast Pilbara, eastern parts of Central Wheat Belt and northwest Goldfields.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Monday.
