Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad area of low pressure lies over the Kimberley. A high pressure ridge
will develop to the south today with a surge of southeasterly winds over the
Pilbara, North Interior and southwest Kimberley. An unseasonal cloud band is
also over the Kimberley and Interior, which is generating widespread showers
and rain.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough extends from the southern Interior and into the Goldfields. A new
ridge is developing from the west, pushing a southeasterly change northwards
and contracting the trough eastwards and out of the state by Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 27 June
Showers over eastern and southern parts of the South West Land Division, far
southeast Gascoyne, Goldfields and Eucla, more frequent about the south coast
and southern Goldfields. Rain and showers over the far northeastern Pilbara,
Kimberley and Interior. Chance of thunderstorms over the Kimberley and
northeast North Interior. Heavy falls possible through the northeastern
Interior and southeast Kimberley. Chance of morning frost over the inland
Gascoyne, inland parts of the South West Land Division and far northern
Goldfields.

Forecast for Wednesday 28 June
Showers over far southern parts of the South West Land Division, southern
Goldfields, Eucla and southeast South Interior. Rain and showers easing over
the Kimberley and Northeast Interior. Chance of thunderstorms over the
northwest Kimberley. Chance of morning frost over the inland Gascoyne, inland
South West Land Division and western Goldfields. Windy morning over the north
of the State.

Forecast for Thursday 29 June
Possible showers over far southern parts of the South West Land Division,
southern Goldfields, Eucla and southeast South Interior. Rain and showers
increasing over the Kimberley and Northeast Interior. Chance of morning frost
over the inland South West Land Division. Windy morning over the north of the
State.

Forecast for Friday 30 June
Possible showers about the south and Eucla coast, east of Albany. Rain and
showers over the north and east Kimberley and northeast North Interior.
Moderate falls possible. Chance of thunderstorms about the far northwest
Kimberley. Chance of morning frost over the inland South West Land Division and
southwest Goldfields. Windy morning over the north of the State.
