Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A high pressure ridge building over central parts of the State is directing a
cooler and drier southeasterly flow across the Pilbara, Interior and southern
Kimberley. An unseasonal cloud band will develop over the region today and
become more widespread and active next week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A series of weak cold fronts embedded within a cool to cold and showery
southwesterly flow will continue across the south for the weekend. Meanwhile, a
ridge building along the Midwest and Interior will weaken today. A new ridge
will develop across the Southern Ocean on Monday, pushing a southeasterly
change northwards across southern WA next week and contracting an inland trough
eastwards and out of the state by the middle of next week.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 25 June
Showers over the South West Land Division, southern Gascoyne, southwest
Goldfields and southwest Eucla district, more frequent about the south and west
coasts of the South West Land Division. Light showers developing over the
northeast Pilbara, far southwest Kimberley and central Interior. Possible small
hail over the southern parts of the South West Land Division. Possible morning
frost over far southeast Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, northeast Goldfields and
South Interior.

Forecast for Monday 26 June
Showers over the South West Land Division, southern and coastal Gascoyne,
Goldfields and western Eucla, more frequent about the south coast of the South
West Land Division. Rain and showers over the eastern Pilbara, western and
southern Kimberley and Interior. Chance of thunderstorms over the far northwest
Kimberley. Heavy falls possible through the Interior. Possible small hail over
the southern parts of the South West Land Division. Chance of morning frost
over the northeast Gascoyne and western and southern South Interior. Possible
snow flurries in the morning about the Stirling ranges.

Forecast for Tuesday 27 June
Showers over eastern and southern parts of the South West Land Division,
southeast Gascoyne, Goldfields and Eucla, more frequent about the south coast.
Rain and showers over the far eastern Pilbara, Kimberley and Interior. Chance
of thunderstorms over the northern and eastern Kimberley. Heavy falls possible
through the northeastern Interior and southeast Kimberley. Chance of morning
frost over the inland Gascoyne, inland parts of the South West Land Division
and western Goldfields.

Forecast for Wednesday 28 June
Showers over far southern parts of the South West Land Division, Eucla and
southeast South Interior. Rain and showers easing over the Kimberley and
Northeast Interior. Chance of thunderstorms over the northern Kimberley. Chance
of morning frost over the inland southern Pilbara, inland Gascoyne, inland
South West Land Division and western Interior.
