Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A generally light wind regime continuing over the northern parts of the State
over the next few days as a broad area of low pressure develops over the area.
A cloud band over the Pilbara should deepen and is expected to extend into the
Interior during the early parts of the new week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure will extend across the southern parts of the state
until Monday when it starts to contract east. Meanwhile, a cloud band will
deepen across northeast Gascoyne and Interior from Sunday, moving east on
Tuesday. A moderate cold front will approach the Southwest Capes later on
Monday and move through the South West Land Division on Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 18 June
Showers along the west coast south of Perth, and south coastal districts west
of Israelite Bay. Rain and showers over the central and western Pilbara, and
far northern Gascoyne. Possible morning frost over the inland parts of the
South West Land Division, southeast Gascoyne, Goldfields, southern South
Interior and inland Eucla. Possible morning fog about the South West Land
Division.

Forecast for Monday 19 June
Showers developing southwest of Lancelin to Albany, mainly later in the day.
Rain and showers over the Pilbara, northern and eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields
and Interior. Possible morning frost over inland parts of the South West Land
Division, southern Goldfields, southern South Interior and inland Eucla.

Forecast for Tuesday 20 June
Showers over the South West Land Division, Gascoyne, Goldfields and Eucla. Rain
and showers over the Pilbara, southwest Kimberley and Interior. Possible small
hail about the south coast.

Forecast for Wednesday 21 June
Showers over the South West Land Division, far southern Gascoyne, southern
Goldfields and Eucla. Rain and showers over the far eastern Pilbara, southwest
Kimberley and eastern Interior. Possible small hail about the Esperance coast.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
