Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
Generally light winds over the northern parts of the State over the next few
days as a broad area of low pressure develops over the area.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge will remain near stationary over the central west coast
for the remainder of the week, before pushing further south on the weekend. A
cold front will move over the South West Land Division during the day on Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 16 June
Showers southwest of a line Kalbarri to Eyre. Possible small hail later in the
day along the south coast. Possible morning fog over the inland northern
Central West. Patchy morning frost over the far eastern Gascoyne, northern
Goldfields, and South Interior. Large swells and hazardous surf about the south
and southwest coasts.

Forecast for Saturday 17 June
Showers near coastal parts of the western and southern South West Land
Division, contracting to the south coast in the morning. Possible small hail
along the south coast, contracting east during the day. Showers also possible
along the Eucla coast. Light showers also possible over the far western
Pilbara. Possible morning fog through the inland Central West and adjacent
Gascoyne. Possible morning frost for the southeast Central Wheat Belt, northern
Great Southern and southwest Goldfields.

Forecast for Sunday 18 June
Showers along the west coast, south of Perth, and south coastal districts.
Light showers also possible over the central and western Pilbara and far
northern Gascoyne. Possible morning frost over the inland parts of the South
West Land Division, southern Goldfields, southern South Interior and Eucla.

Forecast for Monday 19 June
Showers developing southwest of Lancelin to Albany, mainly later in the day.
Showers also over the Pilbara, northern Gascoyne and Interior. Possible morning
frost over the inland parts of the South West Land Division, southern
Goldfields, southern South Interior and Eucla.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
