Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A high pressure system will move through central WA during the week extending a
ridge into northern parts and bringing a return to dry southeasterly winds,
mostly in the mornings, for most of the Pilbara, North Interior and Kimberley.
Winds will ease from Friday as the ridge weakens and high pressure system moves
east.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge is pushing over the central west coast and will continue
to build eastward across central WA on Tuesday, remaining near stationary
during the week. A weak cold front reaches the South West Capes later Tuesday,
moving over the South West Land Division overnight Tuesday and Wednesday.
Another cold front will move over the South West Land Division on Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 13 June
Showers southwest of a line from Jurien Bay to Albany and along the south coast
east to Esperance, increasing with possible thunderstorms southwest of
Busselton to Albany later in the day. Possible showers, mainly afternoon, over
remaining parts southwest of a line Jurien Bay to Hyden to Bremer Bay. Possible
morning fog through the southwest. Areas of morning frost over the north and
east Central Wheat Belt, inland Central West, southern Gascoyne, Goldfields,
South Interior and inland Eucla. Possible light shower later in the day from a
cloud band over coastal parts of the west Pilbara.

Forecast for Wednesday 14 June
Showers southwest of a line Geraldton to Southern Cross to Israelite Bay,
easing over the South West district and adjacent parts during the morning and
becoming mostly confined to coastal parts south of Jurien Bay and along the
south coast by evening. Light falls inland. Possible morning fog through the
east Central West, Central Wheat Belt, western Great Southern and inland South
West district. Areas of morning frost over the north and east Central Wheat
Belt, inland Central West, southern Gascoyne, Goldfields, South Interior and
inland Eucla. Possible light shower in the morning from a cloud band over
coastal parts of the west Pilbara.

Forecast for Thursday 15 June
Showers southwest of a line Geraldton to Hyden to Bremer Bay, mainly coastal
and light falls inland. Possible morning fog through the Central West, Central
Wheat Belt and adjacent Gascoyne. Areas of morning frost over the southern
Gascoyne, northern Goldfields, and South Interior. Possible light showers from
a cloud band over coastal parts of the Pilbara. Large swells and hazardous surf
about the south coast.

Forecast for Friday 16 June
Showers southwest of a line Kalbarri to Norseman. Possible morning fog through
the inland Central West, northern Central Wheat Belt and adjacent Gascoyne.
Areas of morning frost over the southern Gascoyne, northern Goldfields, and
South Interior.
