Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A high pressure ridge pushing across central parts of the state will bring
fresher southeasterly winds, mostly during the mornings, over parts of the
Pilbara from today, and extending through most northern parts on Thursday and
Friday. Winds easing later in the week as the high pressure ridge weakens.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A cold and unstable southwesterly airstream over western and southern parts
will contract to south coastal parts today, and further ease as a high pressure
ridge pushes across central parts of the state. A weak cold front will brush
the south coast on Thursday with another weak to moderate cold front reaching
the southwest corner later Saturday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 7 June
Showers over western and southern parts of the South West Land Division and
along the Gascoyne coast, becoming mostly confined to the south coast during
the afternoon. Possible small hail along the south coast districts between
Albany and Israelite Bay. Chance of a light showers over the southwest and
central Kimberley and northeast North Interior. Possible morning frost over
inland parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Thursday 8 June
Showers south and west of a line from Jurien Bay to Lake Grace to Israelite
Bay, with showers more frequent about the far southwest. Possible morning fog
over the Central Wheat Belt. Possible morning frost over the northeast Central
Wheat Belt, south and east Gascoyne, Goldfields and Interior.

Forecast for Friday 9 June
Showers south and west of a line Lancelin to Katanning to Israelite Bay,
clearing east of Bremer Bay in the afternoon. Light showers also possible over
the Great Southern, far southern Goldfields and Eucla. Possible morning frost
over the northeast Central Wheat Belt, south and east Gascoyne, Goldfields and
Interior.

Forecast for Saturday 10 June
Showers south and west of a line Jurien Bay to Katanning to Albany, extending
to southwest of Kalbarri to Bremer Bay during the afternoon and evening. The
chance of a thunderstorm about coastal parts between Bunbury and Albany. Chance
of a shower over central eastern parts of the Interior.
