Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A high pressure ridge over southern parts of the State will continue to direct
cool, dry and fresh easterly winds over northern parts through into the weekend.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge building along the south coast will move slightly further
north to lie over southern parts of the state on the weekend as a weak cold
front brushes past the southwest coast on Saturday. The ridge will begin to
move east on Monday ahead of an approaching cold front to the southwest.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 26 May
Possible light showers along the south coast east of Windy Harbour, mostly
morning. Windy over central and northern parts. Cooler than normal at night
across most parts of the state. Chance of morning frost across the Central
Wheat Belt, northern Great Southern, northern South East Coastal districts and
southwest Goldfields.

Forecast for Saturday 27 May
Showers about the southwest coast between Cape Naturalise and Albany. Possible
light morning shower along the Eucla coast. Windy over northern parts, mostly
morning. Cooler than normal at night across most parts of the state. Chance of
morning frost and fog across inland parts of the South West Land Division,
Goldfields, adjacent Eucla and southern parts of the Interior.

Forecast for Sunday 28 May
Showers about western and southern parts of the South West and western parts of
South Coastal districts. Windy over northern parts, mostly morning. Cooler than
normal at night across most parts of the state. Chance of morning frost across
inland parts of the South West Land Division, southeast Gascoyne, Goldfields,
inland Eucla and southern parts of the Interior.

Forecast for Monday 29 May
Possible light shower about the southwest Capes. Windy over northern parts,
mostly morning. Cooler than normal at night across most parts of the state,
particularly in the Kimberley and North Interior. Chance of morning frost and
fog across southern and eastern Central Wheat Belt, northern and eastern Great
Southern, northern South East Coastal district and southwest Goldfields.
