Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A firm high pressure ridge will continue to direct dry, cooler east to
southeasterly flow over the northern parts of the State through to early next
week.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
Through to early next week a firm ridge of high pressure will persist across
the State with a weak trough remaining offshore.
Forecast for the rest of Friday 19 May
Light showers about the south coast east of Walpole. Possible morning fog over
South Coastal, adjacent Great Southern, South East Coastal, eastern South West
and western Eucla districts. Windy in the morning near the Pilbara coast.
Fire Danger:
Extreme fire danger for the Burrup district.
Forecast for Saturday 20 May
Light showers about southern coastal parts east of Albany. Possible morning fog
over South Coastal, southern parts of the Great Southern, South East Coastal,
adjacent Goldfields, eastern South West and western Eucla districts. Windy over
northern and central parts.
Forecast for Sunday 21 May
Possible morning frost over inland South East Coastal and adjacent Goldfields.
Windy over northern and central parts.
Forecast for Monday 22 May
Apart from a possible shower over the far southwest of the State, dry
conditions persisting.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
