Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A high pressure ridge will continue to direct dry east to southeasterly flow
over the northern parts of the State for the remainder of the week.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge persists south of the State for the remainder of the
week. A trough will form down the West Coast today before moving offshore on
Thursday.
Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 17 May
Isolated light showers about the western south coast between Walpole and Bremer
Bay. Possible morning fog over South and South East Coastal districts, adjacent
Great Southern and southern Eucla.
Forecast for Thursday 18 May
Light showers about the western south coast between Walpole and Bremer Bay and
along the south coast east of Israelite Bay. Possible morning fog over South
and South East Coastal districts
Forecast for Friday 19 May
Light showers about the south coast and adjacent inland parts east of Walpole.
Possible morning fog over the South and South East Coastal districts and
southwest Eucla.
Forecast for Saturday 20 May
Light showers about southern coastal parts east of Albany. Possible morning fog
over the South and South East Coastal districts, adjacent Great Southern and
southwest Eucla.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
