Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A high pressure ridge will continue to direct slightly cooler, drier
southeasterly flow over the northern parts of the State for the remainder of
the weekend and early next week.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A low pressure trough and weakening cold front is moving east over southern
districts and is expected to exit the State later on Sunday. Another ridge will
follow in the wake of the front, becoming established over southern WA early
next week.
Forecast for the rest of Sunday 14 May
Showers over the southern coastal districts, southern parts of the Great
Southern, southern and eastern Goldfields, and southern Interior. Chance of a
thunderstorm over Eucla, eastern Goldfields and southern Interior.
Forecast for Monday 15 May
Showers over the southern coastal districts and southern parts of Great
Southern.
Forecast for Tuesday 16 May
Light showers about the south coast and adjacent inland areas.
Forecast for Wednesday 17 May
Light showers about the south coast and adjacent inland areas.
