Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A high pressure ridge will continue to direct slightly cooler, drier east to
southeasterly flow over the northern parts of the State for the remainder of
the week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge extends over southern WA. A weak cold front is expected to cross the
southwest of the State on Saturday morning, moving into the Goldfields and
Interior on Saturday night and into Sunday, before exiting the State on Monday.
Another weak ridge will follow in the wake of the front.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 12 May
Showers developing about the southwest coast in the evening. Windy in the
morning across the Kimberley and adjacent North Interior.

Forecast for Saturday 13 May
Showers over the Southwest Land Division, far southern Gascoyne, southern
Goldfields, and much of the Eucla district, more frequent about the far
southwestern parts of the State. Chance of a morning thunderstorm over the
southwestern coastal parts, developing over the southern Goldfields and South
East coastal district during the day. Windy over the Goldfields, eastern parts
of South East Coastal and and Eucla districts.

Forecast for Sunday 14 May
Chance of an early morning shower about the west coast south of Dongara.
Showers over the southern coastal districts, southern parts of Great Southern
and southern Goldfields. Chance of a thunderstorm over eastern Eucla district.

Forecast for Monday 15 May
Showers over the southern coastal districts and southern parts of Great
Southern.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
