Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak, slow moving trough lies over inland Kimberley and Pilbara.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough inland from the west coast should move east during the next few days
ahead of a weak cold front moving south of the state. Another cold front should
move over the southwest of the state on Thursday.
Forecast for the rest of Monday 13 March
Isolated showers and gusty thunderstorms over the far northwestern Kimberley.
Few light showers possible over the far southwest coast. Patchy morning fog
over the South East Coastal district and northwestern Kimberley.
Forecast for Tuesday 14 March
Isolated showers and gusty thunderstorms over northwestern parts of the
Kimberley.
Forecast for Wednesday 15 March
Isolated showers over the northern and western Kimberley. Showers also possible
over the far southwest of the State.
Forecast for Thursday 16 March
Isolated showers and thunderstorms over the northern and western Kimberley.
Showers extending over the South West, Lower West, southwestern parts of the
Great Southern, South Coastal, and western parts of the South East Coastal
district.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Monday.
