Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad slow moving trough lies over inland Kimberley and Pilbara.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A low pressure trough just inland from the west coast will continue to move
east across the South West Land Division during the remainder of today. During
Friday, a ridge of high pressure will push across the far southwest of the
State.
Forecast for the rest of Thursday 9 March
Showers and thunderstorms over northern and central Kimberley, central Pilbara
and South West Land Division.
Forecast for Friday 10 March
Isolated showers and thunderstorms over northern Kimberley. Few showers about
the south coastal districts west of Israelite Bay.
Forecast for Saturday 11 March
Isolated showers and thunderstorms over northwestern Kimberley. Light showers
about the south coast between Bremer Bay and Israelite Bay.
Forecast for Sunday 12 March
Isolated showers and thunderstorms over northwestern Kimberley.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Thursday.
