Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A weak low lies off the Pilbara coast, and a trough extends from the low across
the Kimberley coast.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure will strengthen over the south coast on Friday and
Saturday before a trough develops down the west coast on Sunday.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 24 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, Pilbara, northern
Gascoyne, northeast Goldfields, and central and eastern Eucla. Becoming windy
at times over central parts.

Forecast for Saturday 25 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, north Interior, Pilbara,
north and west Gascoyne, and far northern Central West district. Windy over
central parts.

Forecast for Sunday 26 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, north Interior, Pilbara,
north and west Gascoyne, and far northern Central West district. Windy over
central parts.

Forecast for Monday 27 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, north Interior, Pilbara,
and northern Gascoyne. Possible showers over the Central West, northern parts
of the Lower West, and western parts of the Central Wheat Belt.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
