Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad area of low pressure persists across the Pilbara, Kimberley and North
Interior.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough over the South Interior is moving northeast, as a ridge of high
pressure strengthens a little south of the State. A west coast trough is
developing and will deepen today and tomorrow, before moving east on Tuesday
ahead of a weak cold front brushing past the southwest coast. The front will be
followed by a new ridge of high pressure by Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 12 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over northern and western Kimberley, Pilbara,
western and southern Interior. Very hot over northern parts of the South West
Land Division, and central and northern parts of the State.

Forecast for Monday 13 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the northern and western Kimberley,
Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne, northern Goldfields and central parts of the
Interior. Very hot over northern and central parts of the South West Land
Division, and central and northern parts of the State.

Forecast for Tuesday 14 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the northern and western Kimberley,
Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne and far western parts of the Interior. Few light
showers about the southwest coast. Windy over the southeastern parts of the
South West Land Division. Very hot over eastern parts of the South West Land
Division, and central and northern parts of the State.

Forecast for Wednesday 15 February
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the northern and western Kimberley,
Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne and western parts of the Interior. Light showers on
the coast between Albany and Israelite Bay. Very hot over eastern and northern
parts of the State.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
