Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad area of low pressure persists across the Pilbara, Kimberley and North
Interior.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak trough extending down the west coast will move inland ahead of the
remnants of a cold front brushing the western south coast later today. A new
high pressure ridge will develop over the South West Land Division on Saturday.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 10 February
Isolated showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and Pilbara, mostly
during the afternoon and evening. Isolated gusty thunderstorms with little or
no rainfall over the Pilbara, eastern Gascoyne, far west South Interior,
western Goldfields and far east Central Wheat Belt. Very hot over inland parts
of the South West Land Division, central and northern parts.

Forecast for Saturday 11 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara and southern Interior,
mostly during the afternoon and evening. Very hot over central and northern
parts.

Forecast for Sunday 12 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, and Interior. Very hot
over northern parts of South West Land Division, central and northern parts.

Forecast for Monday 13 February
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, far northeast Gascoyne
and Interior. Very hot over northern parts of South West Land Division, central
and northern parts.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
