Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough moving north across inland Pilbara and North Interior will move close
to the Pilbara coast and over the Kimberley today before moving slipping back
to inland areas on the weekend.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A firm ridge of high pressure extends across the southern parts of the State
for the remainder of the week. A trough deepening down the west coast will
become slow moving until next week.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 19 January
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, northern parts of
the Interior, Gascoyne, northwest Goldfields and northern half of the South
West Land Division. Light showers on the south coast. Windy over the Gascoyne,
Central West and Lower West. Very hot over the western Gascoyne and northern
Central West district.

Forecast for Friday 20 January
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, northern parts of
the Interior, north and west Gascoyne Central West and northern parts of the
Lower West district. Light showers about the southeast coast.

Forecast for Saturday 21 January
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, northern parts of
the Interior, north and west Gascoyne, and western parts of the South West Land
Division. Chance of a light shower about the southeast coast.

Forecast for Sunday 22 January
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Pilbara, northern parts of
the Interior, north and west Gascoyne, and western parts of the South West Land
Division. Chance of a light shower about the southeast coast.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Thursday.
