Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad trough extending from inland Kimberley to the Interior will extend into
the Pilbara on today and become slow moving.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough over the Interior is moving east as a firm ridge of high pressure
builds across the southern half of the State. A weak cold front is moving along
the south coast. A west coast trough will form on Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 11 December
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the northeast Interior and Kimberley.
Chance of showers along the Esperance coast. Damaging winds possible with
thunderstorms over the Kimberley. Very hot over northern parts of the State.

Forecast for Monday 12 December
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, northeast
Gascoyne and North Interior. Chance of a light shower about the southwest
coast. Very hot over northern parts of the State.

Forecast for Tuesday 13 December
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, Interior,
adjacent Eucla, Goldfields, eastern Gascoyne, eastern Central Wheat Belt, and
far eastern Great Southern districts. Showers over southern parts of South West
Land Division and southern Eucla. Very hot across western Pilbara and southwest
Kimberley districts.

Forecast for Wednesday 14 December
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, Interior,
adjacent Eucla, Goldfields, eastern Gascoyne and eastern Central Wheat Belt
districts. Showers over southeastern parts of South West Land Division and
southern Eucla.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Sunday.
