Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the inland Kimberley down into the central Pilbara.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge will lie south of the state through the forecast period.
A trough over central parts of the state extends east into the Interior and
will remain near stationary over the weekend and into early next week. The
trough over central parts will extend a branch towards the west coast early
next week.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 4 December
High based showers and gusty thunderstorms over the eastern Gascoyne, South
Interior, Goldfields, eastern parts of the South West Land Division and Eucla.
Little to no rainfall expected. Possible light showers about southern coastal
districts of the South West Land Division. Very hot over northern parts of the
State.

Forecast for Monday 5 December
High based showers and gusty thunderstorms over the eastern Gascoyne, South
Interior, far southeast Pilbara, Goldfields and South East Coastal district.
Little to no rainfall expected. Possible light showers about southern coastal
districts of the South West Land Division. Very hot over northern parts of the
State.

Forecast for Tuesday 6 December
High based showers and thunderstorms over the eastern Gascoyne, South Interior,
Goldfields, eastern parts of the South West Land Division and Eucla. Little to
no rainfall expected. Possible light showers about the South and South East
Coastal district. Chance of afternoon thunderstorms over the north Kimberley.
Very hot over northern parts of the State.

Forecast for Wednesday 7 December
High based showers and gusty thunderstorms over the eastern Kimberley, east
Interior, southern Goldfields and Eucla. Little to no rainfall expected.
Possible light showers about southern coastal districts of the South West Land
Division. Very hot over northern parts of the State.
