Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the inland Kimberley down into the central Pilbara.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough is moving over the eastern Goldfields and the far eastern South West
Land Division during the remainder of today and then into the Interior and
Eucla by Friday. Over the weekend the trough will become stagnant over the
South Interior. A weak high pressure ridge lies over southwest parts of the
State but a trough will develop back over southern parts of the South West Land
Division on Friday and Saturday. A weak cold front brushes the far southwest
coast on Saturday.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 2 December
High based showers and thunderstorms over the northeast Gascoyne, far western
Interior and northern Goldfields. Little to no rainfall expected. Very hot over
the Goldfields and Eucla.

Fire Danger:
Extreme for the Burrup Fire Weather District.

Forecast for Saturday 3 December
High based showers and thunderstorms over the eastern Gascoyne, southeast
Pilbara, west Interior, Goldfields, eastern parts of the Central Wheat Belt and
far northeast Great Southern. Little to no rainfall expected. Possible light
showers along the south coast west of Israelite Bay, clearing east of Walpole
by the afternoon.

Forecast for Sunday 4 December
High based showers and thunderstorms over the eastern Gascoyne, west Interior,
Goldfields and eastern parts of the South West Land Division. Little to no
rainfall expected. Possible light showers about southern coastal districts of
the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Monday 5 December
High based showers and thunderstorms over the eastern Gascoyne, west Interior,
southeast Pilbara and northern Goldfields. Little to no rainfall expected.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
