Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough remains slow moving over the central Kimberley, while another trough
lies from the central Pilbara and into the South Interior. The trough moves
northwards on Monday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough over central parts of the Interior will remain there over the rest of
the weekend, before contracting further north from Monday. A ridge of high
pressure extends across the southern parts of the State through the rest of the
weekend. A west coast trough will develop on Monday, deepening on Tuesday
before moving inland on Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 27 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, far northeast Pilbara and
Interior. Heavy falls possible with thunderstorms. Possible light showers near
the south coast. Cooler over the southern Kimberley and North Interior.

Forecast for Monday 28 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, far east Pilbara, North Interior
and adjacent South Interior. Heavy falls possible with thunderstorms.

Forecast for Tuesday 29 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara and adjacent
North Interior. Warm to hot across the South West Land Division and western
Gascoyne, very hot across the Central West and northern South West Land
Division.

Forecast for Wednesday 30 November
Isolated high based showers and thunderstorms over the inland central Pilbara,
eastern Gascoyne, western Goldfields and eastern parts of the South West Land
Division. Little to no rainfall expected. Warm to hot across the South West
Land Division and inland Gascoyne, very hot across the inland northern and
central South West Land Division.
