Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough remains slow moving over central Kimberley, while another trough is
located over western Pilbara. A cloud band across the southern Kimberley,
Pilbara and Interior will persist until the weekend.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough over central parts of the Interior will remain there over the weekend,
before contracting further north early next week. A weak cold front is moving
east across the southwest coast on Saturday, followed by a firm ridge of high
pressure will then extend across the southern parts of the State for the
remainder of the weekend. A west coast trough will develop from Monday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 26 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, far eastern Eucla and
northeast Pilbara. Showers over the southern coastal districts. Heavy falls and
damaging winds possible with thunderstorms over South Interior with the chance
of hail. Chance of morning fog over southeast South West Land Division and
adjacent Goldfields. Cooler over the southern Kimberley and North Interior.

Forecast for Sunday 27 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, far northeast Pilbara and
Interior. Possible light showers near the south coast. Cooler over the southern
Kimberley and North Interior.

Forecast for Monday 28 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, far northeast Pilbara, North
Interior and adjacent South Interior.

Forecast for Tuesday 29 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara and adjacent
North Interior. Warm to hot across the South West Land Division and western
Gascoyne, very hot across the Central West and northern parts of the Lower West.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Saturday.
