Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough over the central Kimberley extends southwest along the Pilbara and
Gascoyne coasts. The western part of the trough will move inland away from the
Gascoyne coast and west Pilbara coasts from Wednesday. A cloud band across the
Pilbara and Interior will persist until later in the week.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure lies south of the State with a deepening trough down
the west coast which will move inland on Wednesday. The trough continues to
move east on Thursday and Friday over the eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields, Eucla
and Interior. A weak cold front will approach on Thursday before moving over
far southwest parts of the South West Land Division on Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 23 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northwestern Interior, eastern
Pilbara, south and east Gascoyne, Goldfields, and South West Land Division.
Chance of heavy falls in thunderstorms over most of the inland Kimberley.
Showers and thunderstorms contracting east and clearing west coastal parts of
the South West Land Division early morning. Warm to hot across the eastern and
southern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Thursday 24 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, central and east
Pilbara, northeast Gascoyne, eastern Goldfields and Eucla. Showers possible
over southwestern parts of the South West Land Division. Warm to hot across
Goldfields, South Interior and Eucla.

Forecast for Friday 25 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, east Pilbara, eastern
Goldfields and Eucla. Showers over western and southern districts of the South
West Land Division. Warm to hot across Goldfields, South Interior and Eucla.

Forecast for Saturday 26 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley and Interior. Light showers over
far southern parts of the South West Land Division.
