Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough over central Kimberley will extend southwest along the Pilbara and
Gascoyne coasts during today and Monday. Meanwhile, a cloud band will form
across the Pilbara and Interior during the morning.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A firm ridge of high pressure extends across the southern parts of the State
this weekend. A trough will develop down the west coast from Monday, with the
ridge expected to weaken and contract east slowly on Tuesday. The west coast
trough will slowly move inland on Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 20 November
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over central and eastern Kimberley. Light
showers along the south coast, northern Pilbara and North Interior. Chance of
damaging wind gusts and heavy falls in thunderstorms across the central and
eastern Kimberley.

Forecast for Monday 21 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, northern Interior and far
northeastern Pilbara. Showers over central parts of the Interior and over the
remainder of the Pilbara. Temperatures increasing near the west coast.

Forecast for Tuesday 22 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, adjacent North Interior and
northern Pilbara. Showers over the southern Pilbara and central parts of the
Interior. Afternoon showers and thunderstorms possible across the western
Gascoyne and western parts of the South West Land Division. Warm to hot across
the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Wednesday 23 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the northern and western Kimberley, western
parts of the Interior, eastern and central Pilbara, eastern Gascoyne and
Goldfields. Showers over the western Pilbara, southwest Gascoyne and South West
Land Division. Warm to hot across the eastern and southern parts of the South
West Land Division.
