Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A broad low pressure system should remain over the inland parts of the
Kimberley through to Thursday. A low pressure trough near the west coast should
move eastwards during the week to reach the Kimberley by Saturday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A trough extending down the west coast will move inland on Wednesday ahead of a
cold front moving across the southwest of the State. Another cold front will
move across the South West Land Division on Friday and will be followed by a
new ridge of high pressure over the weekend.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 16 November
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern and northern
Pilbara, northern parts of the Interior, eastern Gascoyne, and northern
Goldfields. Showers and thunderstorms over parts of the South West Land
Division. Chance of morning fog over southwest Pilbara. Warm to hot across the
Gascoyne and South West Land Division.

Forecast for Thursday 17 November
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, Interior,
Goldfields, Eucla, Central Wheat Belt, Great Southern, South West, South
Coastal, and South East Coastal districts. Showers over the South West Land
Division. Cooler in the southwest.

Forecast for Friday 18 November
Showers and thunderstorms over northern and eastern Kimberley, eastern parts of
the Interior and far eastern parts of Eucla. Showers over the South West Land
Division , southern Goldfields and the remainder of Eucla. Thunderstorms over
the southern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Saturday 19 November
Showers and thunderstorms over northern and eastern Kimberley, and eastern
parts of the North Interior. Showers easing over the west coast south of Jurien
Bay, and over the southern districts.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
