Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough extends from the Pilbara coast into the North Interior. The trough
will move north into the southern Kimberley on Sunday as a strong ridge
develops over southern parts of the State.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A low lies south of the State and will move east during today. A strong high
pressure ridge is moving in over the southwest corner and will extend across
the southern half of the State over this weekend. A trough will begin to form
down the west coast on Sunday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 12 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and east Kimberley and over the
southern Goldfields and southern coastal districts east of Esperance. Showers
over remaining southern parts of the South West Land Division. Cooler than
average temperatures over the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Sunday 13 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and east Kimberley. Showers over far
southern parts of the South West Land Division, extending into the southern
Goldfields and Eucla then contracting south during the day.

Forecast for Monday 14 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and east Kimberley. Light showers over
the South Coastal, South East Coastal, and Eucla districts.

Forecast for Tuesday 15 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the north and east Kimberley and extending over
the Dampier Peninsula. Mainly clear and warmer over the south of the State with
isolated light showers near the Eucla coast. Hot over the inland Gascoyne.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Saturday.
