Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough will remain over the eastern Kimberley for the remainder of the week.
Another trough will continue to develop across the Pilbara and extend into the
interior of the State this today. A strong high pressure ridge developing over
southern parts of the state over the weekend will push the trough north to be
near the Pilbara coast.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A low and associated trough over eastern districts will continue to move east
ahead of a cold front moving over the southwest of the State. A low south of
Esperance will intensify overnight, before moving east on Saturday. A strong
high pressure ridge will then push across southern parts during the weekend.

Forecast for the rest of Friday 11 November
Showers and thunderstorms over northern and eastern Kimberley, far eastern
Interior, Eucla, southern Goldfields, and South East Coastal district. Showers
over the southern half of the South West Land Division, and along the west
coast. Very hot over parts of the Kimberley, and north and east Interior.
Cooler over the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Saturday 12 November
Showers and thunderstorms over northern and eastern Kimberley. Showers over
southern districts of the South West Land Division, southern Goldfields and
Eucla. Cooler over the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Sunday 13 November
Showers or thunderstorms over the eastern Kimberley. Showers over southern
districts of the South West Land Division, adjacent Goldfields and Eucla,
contracting to coastal parts during the day.

Forecast for Monday 14 November
Showers and thunderstorms over the northeast Kimberley. Light showers over the
South Coastal, South East Coastal, and Eucla districts.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Friday.
