Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough will remain over the eastern Kimberley for most of the week. Another
trough will continue to develop across the Pilbara and extend into the interior
of the State today and into Friday. A strong high pressure ridge developing
over southern parts of the state over the weekend will push the trough north to
be near the Pilbara coast.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A weak high pressure ridge lies over the south coast with a trough developing
over inland parts of the state. A low will form in the deepening trough today
before moving east ahead of a cold front that moves over the southwest of the
State today. A strong high pressure ridge will develop over southern parts in
the wake of the cold front over the weekend.

Forecast for the rest of Thursday 10 November
Showers and thunderstorms over northern and eastern Kimberley. Showers over
southern and western parts of the South West Land Division. Showers and the
chance of a thunderstorm over the South East Coastal district, southern
Goldfields, and west Eucla. Chance of morning fog over southern districts of
the South West Land Division. Very hot over parts of the Kimberley and North
Interior.

Forecast for Friday 11 November
Showers and thunderstorms over northern and eastern Kimberley, far eastern
North Interior and Eucla. Showers over the southern half of the South West Land
Division, and along the west coast and southern parts of the Goldfields. Very
hot over parts of the Kimberley, and north and east Interior. Cooler over the
South West Land Division.

Forecast for Saturday 12 November
Showers and thunderstorms over northern and eastern Kimberley, and far eastern
North Interior. Showers over southern districts of the South West Land
Division, southern Goldfields and Eucla. Chance of morning frost over inland
parts of the South West district, northwest Great Southern and southwest
Central Wheat Belt. Cooler over the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Sunday 13 November
Shower or thunderstorm over the northeast Kimberley. Showers over southern
districts of the South West Land Division, adjacent Goldfields and Eucla,
contracting to coastal parts during the day.
