Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A high pressure ridge across eastern parts is weakening and is moving east. A
trough over the far northern Kimberley and along the Pilbara coast is moving
inland as the ridge moves away. A low pressure system developing within the
trough will move to the southern parts of the State by Sunday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A deepening trough over the South West Land Division is moving east as a weak
cold front brushes past the south coast. A low pressure system will deepen
within the trough as it moves over the Gascoyne and Goldfields over the weekend
ahead of a new ridge of high pressure extending along the south coast. The
trough and low pressure system are expected to exit the State on Tuesday.
Another cold front and associated trough will move across the southwest coast
on Monday and across the South West Land Division on Tuesday.

Forecast for the rest of Saturday 5 November
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern North Interior, and
northeastern parts of the South Interior. Chance of a light shower about the
south coast. Chance of a late thunderstorm over northwest Central Wheat Belt.
Very hot over southwest Kimberley, northeast Pilbara and adjacent North
Interior.

Forecast for Sunday 6 November
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, Eucla,
Goldfields, southeast Gascoyne and across the South West Land Division in the
area east of Yanchep to Walpole. Very hot over far northeast Kimberley.

Forecast for Monday 7 November
Showers and gusty thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern parts of the
Interior, Eucla, southern Goldfields and South West Land Division. Very hot
over eastern Kimberley.

Forecast for Tuesday 8 November
Showers and chance of gusty thunderstorms over the northern Kimberley and
eastern parts of the Interior. Showers over Eucla, southern and central
Goldfields and South West Land Division. Very hot over eastern and central
Kimberley.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Saturday.
