Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough has become slow moving over the Kimberley. Another trough extending
from the Gascoyne will move across the southern Pilbara today and into the
Interior on Thursday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge of high pressure is moving east across southern WA. A weak trough
located near the west coast is moving inland. . A cold front has arrived over
the southwest coast this morning and will move eastwards across the South West
Land Division today. A new ridge will extend across the South West Land
Division later today in the wake of the front. A weak trough will brush past
the southwest coast on Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 5 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the northern and eastern Kimberley. Showers
across the South West Land Division, Goldfields, western parts of the South
Interior, and Eucla district. Chance of gusty thunderstorms over eastern parts
of the South West Land Division, southern Goldfields, and western Eucla. Small
hail possible over southern parts of the South West and South Coastal
districts. Chance of morning fog over eastern parts of Southeast Coastal, far
southeast Goldfields, Eucla and adjacent South Interior.

Forecast for Thursday 6 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the northern and eastern Kimberley. Showers over
the South Interior, Eucla, eastern Goldfields and southwest and southern parts
of the South West Land Division. Possible morning frost over the Central Wheat
Belt, Great Southern and adjacent South West and South East Coastal districts.

Forecast for Friday 7 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the northern and eastern Kimberley. Light
showers over far southern parts of the South West Land Division and possibly
early about the west coast south of Jurien Bay. Possible morning frost over the
Great Southern and adjacent South West and South Coastal districts. Chance of
morning fog over the Southwest, South Coastal, South East Coastal and southern
parts of the Great Southern districts.

Forecast for Saturday 8 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the northern and eastern Kimberley. Light
showers southwest of a line Harvey to Mount Barker. Possible morning frost over
the southern Central Wheat Belt, Great Southern and adjacent South West, South
East Coastal, Eucla and southern parts of the Goldfields districts. Chance of
morning fog over Eucla, east parts of South East Coastal, southern parts of the
Great Southern and adjacent South West and South Coastal districts.
