Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough lies through the inland Kimberley and Pilbara, with the branch of the
trough over the Pilbara expected to drift northward over the coast on Monday. A
deep upper-level trough over the inland Gascoyne and North Interior and will
slowly move eastward early this week

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high is building eastward through the Southern Ocean to maintain a ridge over
southern WA early this week. The next cold front will arrive over the lower
west coast during early Wednesday morning and move eastwards through the South
West Land Division during the day.

Forecast for the rest of Monday 3 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the east-central Kimberley, Interior, and
eastern Eucla with showers continuing across the south coastal districts and
eastern and southern Goldfields. Possible moderate rainfall again through the
Interior and parts of the Kimberley.

Forecast for Tuesday 4 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the Interior and northern and eastern Kimberley.
Showers lighter and less frequent over the south coast with dry weather likely
from Albany westward through the South West Capes. Morning fog over the
southern parts of the South West Land Division.

Forecast for Wednesday 5 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the northern and eastern Kimberley. Showers
extending across the South West Land Division, southwest Goldfields,
southwestern parts of the Interior, and Eucla district. Chance of thunderstorms
over the South East Coastal, Goldfields, and Eucla districts.

Forecast for Thursday 6 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the northern and eastern Kimberley. Showers and
over the Interior, Eucla, eastern Goldfields and southern parts of the South
West Land Division.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Monday.
