Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough lies across the inland parts of the Kimberley and Pilbara.
Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge lies south of the State while a broad trough lies along the west coast,
and will remain there for the remainder of the week. A low pressure system
should remain over the northern Gascoyne or western Pilbara through to at least
the weekend. Windy conditions continuing over the central Gascoyne, far
northern Goldfields, and northern South Interior easing into Saturday.
Forecast for the rest of Friday 30 September
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern and southern Pilbara,
North Interior, northern parts of the South Interior, northern Goldfields, and
inland Gascoyne. Heavy falls possible. Possible morning fog over inland parts
of the Pilbara and the South and Southeast coastal districts. Areas of morning
smoke over the Lower West.
Forecast for Saturday 1 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, far eastern Pilbara, Interior,
northern Goldfields, and eastern Gascoyne. Heavy falls possible over the
Kimberley and Interior. Possible light showers over the southwestern parts of
the South West Land Division. Possible morning fog over southern parts of the
South West Land Division.
Forecast for Sunday 2 October
Showers over the Kimberley, Interior, far southeastern Pilbara, Goldfields,
Eucla and far southern parts of the South West Land Division. Light showers
possible over the remainder of the South West Land Division. Possible
thunderstorms over the Kimberley, Interior, far southeastern Pilbara, far
northeastern Gascoyne, and far northeastern Eucla. Possible morning fog over
inland central parts of the Pilbara.
Forecast for Monday 3 October
Showers over the eastern Kimberley, Interior, far southeastern Pilbara,
Goldfields, southeastern Gascoyne, Eucla, and inland and southern parts of the
South West Land Division. Possible thunderstorms over the eastern Kimberley,
Interior, and far eastern Eucla. Possible morning fog over the far southern
Pilbara, eastern Gascoyne, far inland South West Land Division, Goldfields,
Interior, and inland Eucla.
