Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
Hot across the Kimberley but becoming cooler from Thursday and Friday. A trough
lies across the Kimberley and the inland Pilbara. It will push offshore from
the Pilbara coast for a period this morning.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge lies south of the State while a weak trough lies along the west coast,
and will remain there for the week. Windy over the southern Gascoyne and
adjacent Interior on Thursday and Friday.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday 28 September
Possible isolated showers and thunderstorms over the eastern South West
district, South Coastal district, far southeast Lower West district, most of
the Great Southern and far west of the Southeast Coastal district. Possible
afternoon showers and thunderstorms over the northern Kimberley. Possible
morning fog over the far southwest of the State and the far northwest Kimberley.

Forecast for Thursday 29 September
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, North Interior, northwest South
Interior, far southeast Pilbara, far northern Goldfields, Gascoyne and the
northern Central west district.

Forecast for Friday 30 September
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern and far southeastern
Pilbara, North Interior, northern parts of the South Interior, northern
Goldfields, and central and northeastern Gascoyne. Moderate to heavy falls
possible. Possible morning fog over western parts of the Pilbara.

Forecast for Saturday 1 October
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, far eastern Pilbara, Interior,
northern Goldfields, and eastern Gascoyne. Moderate to heavy falls possible
over the Kimberley and Interior. Possible morning fog over most of the Pilbara.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Wednesday.
