Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
Hot across the Kimberley. A trough lies across the Kimberley. A high pressure
ridge to the south will result in fresh and gusty southeasterly winds over the
Pilbara, Interior and southwest Kimberley for the next few days.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A ridge is pushing across southern districts which will drift south of the
State today as a trough develops near the west coast during Wednesday.

Forecast for the rest of Tuesday 27 September
Showers and thunderstorms over the northeast Interior. Windy morning over most
of the north of the State. Possible morning fog over inland southern parts of
the South West Land Division and Eucla.

Forecast for Wednesday 28 September
Possible isolated showers and thunderstorms over the South West district,
southwestern parts of the Great Southern, and western parts of the South
Coastal. Showers and thunderstorms over the northern and eastern Kimberley.
Possible morning fog over the far southwest of the State.

Forecast for Thursday 29 September
Showers and thunderstorms over the Kimberley, North Interior, northwest South
Interior, far southeast Pilbara, far northern Goldfields, Gascoyne and the
northern Central west district.

Forecast for Friday 30 September
Possible light showers along the south coast east of Esperance. Showers and
thunderstorms over the Kimberley, eastern and far southeastern Pilbara, North
Interior, northern parts of the South Interior, northern Goldfields, and
central and northeastern Gascoyne. Possible morning fog over western parts of
the Pilbara.

The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm WST Tuesday.
