Weather Situation – Northern Western Australia
A trough will deepen westward over the inland Kimberley and Pilbara coast today
and be confined to the Kimberley on Tuesday. The northern end of a cold front
will pass through the Gascoyne during Tuesday.

Weather Situation – Southern and Central Western Australia
A high pressure ridge lies over southern parts of the State. A trough will
deepen down the west coast late today, then will start to shift inland during
Monday as a relatively strong cold front approaches the west coast. This front
will pass over the west coast early Tuesday and continue eastward across the
State for the remainder of the day.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 11 September
Possible morning fog over the inland South West Land Division, southwest
Goldfields and west Kimberley. Dry with daytime temperatures broadly warmer
than normal across the South West Land Division. Early showers clearing from
eastern parts of the South Interior.

Forecast for Monday 12 September
Remaining warmer than normal across the South West Land Division. Showers
developing over the far South West during the morning, extending to southwest
of a line from Shark Bay to Bremer Bay by late evening. Showers are likely to
be increasing during the evening about the Lower West coast and South West,
with the chance of thunderstorms developing near the South West Capes. Only
possible light showers later in the day over the Southeast Coastal district.
Possible morning fog near the coast about the north and west Kimberley, west
Gascoyne and Central West district.

Forecast for Tuesday 13 September
Windy with widespread showers across most of the South West Land Division,
along with the chance of thunderstorms through southern parts of the region.
Moderate falls possible in the Lower West and South West. Showers extending
into the southern and western Gascoyne and Goldfields. Windy and warm through
the eastern Goldfields, Eucla and South Interior.

Forecast for Wednesday 14 September
Showers throughout the South West Land Division, southwest Goldfields and
Eucla. Chance of thunderstorms about the south coast of the South West Land
Division. Windy over the southern half of the State.
